Dunollie Links is the name of Dunollie Museum Castle and Grounds' busy and extensive community programme, which has been in place since 2012.
Since then, we have been working hard to develop opportunities to support learning and well-being within our local community. Some of the ways we seek to do this is by providing access to local history and heritage, providing a supportive environment to learn new skills and meet new people, as well as safe space to spend time outside and close to nature.

Through the Dunollie Links programme, a wide range of volunteer opportunities have been created to suit different ages and fields of interest, including museum stewarding, archive volunteers, gardening volunteers and event volunteers. Dunollie Links has also supported the creation of community groups, from Cofaidh is Cabadaich, our Gaelic Conversation Group to our Threads & Yarns Sewing Group.

The Dunollie Links programme extends to the local primary and secondary schools. Each year, we host a series of educational workshops to provide fun and memorable learning experience which fit into different levels of the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. In addition, we work closely with Oban High School to create more bespoke opportunities for students. In particular, we are proud to support High School students on their individual pathways projects and to welcome several student groups to pursue activities they can find rewarding and learn new skills, like our student gardening and student construction groups.
