About this object‘Bux’ map measuring instrument with printed envelope container. Measure comprises a wine coloured plastic pear-shaped case containing a numerical dial (visible through a window) and with a small metal wheel at the apex. Case centre inscribed with scale of 1inch to 1mile, an arrow pointing left and the brand name. The dial is white with numbers and divisions printed in red. Paper envelope off-white with instructions and illustration of the measuring instrument printed in red and black ink.
