About this objectBox of vignettes (for decorating envelopes). Rectangular maroon leather-covered box resembling a chest, with hinged lid and stamped brass fittings. Lid decorated with fleur-de-lis at each corner and tooled lettering in gold leaf. Partially lined with pink and gold paper. Two inner compartments contain a number of paper vignettes, adhesive on one side, with floral and classical designs in black and white.
