Glazed, white with transfer-printed design in mid-blue and dark cobalt blue, known as ‘Burns Pattern’. Design comprises Chinese dragons and lions against a geometric background pattern of horizontal short lines and stylised floral motifs, with a ‘Persian’ style scrolled border design below the rim. Maker’s marks (an oval outlined with dots containing wording, printed in blue, and a separate imprinted number) on base.
